Sweet corn ''Luminox'' F1.
Super sweet sweet corn hybrid. The number of rows of grains in one cob is from 14 to 16.
Ideal for freezing, canning and fresh consumption.

* Corn is demanding of heat and grows well on fertile moist soils.
You can also grow it in your garden: a warm, sunny place protected from the wind is allocated for it.
Predecessors of corn can be potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, peas.
It is advisable to sow it after zucchini, squash and other pumpkin crops.
Before sowing, corn seeds are warmed up for 4-5 days in the sun, and then soaked in warm water to speed up the emergence of seedlings.
Sow seeds in mid-May, when the soil has warmed up well. The depth of seed placement is 5-7 cm. With the help of a light film cover, tender shoots are protected from frost. To ensure that the roots of the crops develop faster, the soil crust between the rows is loosened after each rain (weeds are also removed).
Feed the corn with local organic fertilizers.
Harvest the cobs at the milky stage of ripeness, before the grain hardens. Harvesting continues for about two weeks. The remaining green mass is used as feed for livestock.
Of course, the most common varieties of corn are sweet varieties.
To ensure that the corn grain ripens well in Estonian conditions, it is necessary to plant early varieties, not to thicken the crops (the distance between rows is 60-70 cm, between plants in a row - 30-40 cm) and not to plant corn in the shade.
